What Classes Are Available and How Do I Sign Up?
There are two general types of classes available at MeWeArt.
First, and our most popular, are the Weekly Drawing and Painting classes for students interested in formal art training. Theses classes are semester based and are usually held once or twice a week. Each semester typically runs for about 13 weeks.
The second type of classes are one time events such as BYOB Painting Night, Private Parties and Workshops. These classes are session based and the fees are paid per attended session.
When do I need to arrive for a class?
For drawing and painting classes, we recommend that for the very first class, you arrive 20 minutes before the start of class. Please attend on-time for all subsequent classes to get the most out of each class.
For BYOB painting night, we recommend arriving 15-20 minutes before the class begins to allow time for you to get settled in and mingle with fellow guests.
Returns & Refunds
Weekly Drawing and Painting Class:
All refunds are subject to a nonrefundable $25 administrative fee. Tuition will be refunded if notice of withdrawal is provided at least 14 days prior to start date of the semester or workshop. If notice of withdrawal is given less than two weeks prior to the start of the semester or on the date of the workshop, students will receive a 50% refund, less the $25 administrative fee. No refunds will be given after the start date of the session for which you are enrolled.
BYOB Painting Night:
A full refund is available if you cancel at least 48 hours before the start of the class. You also have the option to put the reservation on hold for a later date. The reservation can be put on hold to be used for another class if the cancellation is received at least 24 hours before the class starts. Loss of payment will occur for “no shows” or a cancellation with less than 24 hours notice. For inclement weather, we will issue you a class credit, with at least 4 hours notice before class start time.
Private Party:
All the refunds are subject to a nonrefundable $25 administrative fee. A full refund can occur if cancellation occurs at least 3 weeks before your party starts. Reschedules can be granted one time with at least 2 weeks notice.
What is the age limit to attend the class?
Drawing and Painting Class: we work with students 5-year-old to adult.
BYOB Painting Night: 21+ for Friday and Saturday evenings. For classes at other times, underage guests must be accompanied by an adult.
I don’t have any artistic talent. Will I be able to complete the painting?
Our skilled and friendly teachers will guide you step-by-step to help create your artistic masterpiece.
What do I need to bring to the class?
Drawing and Painting Class A material list will be sent to your email once the registration is completed.
BYOB Painting Night We provide canvas, easels, brushes, paints and apron for the class. All you need to bring are any drinks and snacks you might want to enjoy during the class. We also provide the wine glasses, plates, napkins, corkscrews, silverware and ice bucket.
What do I need to wear to the class?
No dress code here. We will provide an apron to every guest. Every guest has been known to get involved in their art.
Do you offer custom painting party?
Yes, we do. The fee for our artist to create a custom painting is $80.
